Meet & Greet

Our process is a little different from what you or your pets are probably used to.

 After check-in, we allow for 5 minutes or so of play/sniff time. This way your pet can become familiar with their surroundings. This aids in calming any anxiety they may be feeling. 

Then we start the process. Nails are trimmed, ears are cleaned, and tangles and/or mats removed. We then go into the shower. Yes shower, not tub. The open feel of the shower is less stressful than an enclosed tub. 

They are then hand dried. We do not use or even own cage dryers.

After drying, it’s time for a little more goofing off. Blow dryers are scary. So a little play or snuggle time is allowed to let your pet relax. We move onto the final haircut and/or brush out. 

After we are finished they play or sleep till you get back to take them home. 

There are 4 cats that live here and enjoy playing with dogs as well.

Maria Wright is an experienced and dedicated pet groomer and animal care professional, currently working at Moon Mutts Grooming in Moon, Pennsylvania.

For the past thirteen years, I have groomed at various shops and businesses. As a former veterinary technician, I was able to provide vet tech services for all animals. In addition to providing a top-notch groom for your pet. I have technical training that gives me insight into the health and wellness of animals, and I am always on the lookout for signs of illness or injury.
